John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word

Gentle Words

Gentle words He speaks to me

To take my pen and write

Soothing Streams of Grace divine

In the darkest hours of night

 

Gentle words His love inspires

Rivers of peace He brings

Lyrics written by human hands

Heavenly songs to sing

 

Gentle words in the night

Whispered to broken hearts

Write the tears and shattered dreams

Write the healing Christ imparts
