John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word

Judge Not

Who are we to judge each other? Many self-righteous people say, Don’t help him, he used to be this or that. Or do not trust her, she used to be a whatever the accusation is! Churches are empty because so many are discounted! Christian laborers are unused because they have a past! I know, I have been excluded, and I have judged others. I have a past, and it’s not pretty, but Jesus saved me and forgave me! Then I have judged those who judged me, and that was sin. Some of us are so very gun-shy that we can’t trust we will be treated fairly! As for me, regardless of the consequences, I repent. I repent of assuming another servant’s attitude, worth, or service. I repent of judging others based on hearsay or gossip. I repent of allowing those things to make an unprofitable servant of me, because of fear! Please read all of this post. Please don’t stop right here. Continue to read what the Word says and let it wash us all!

Do Not Pass Judgment on One Another

Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Rom 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Rom 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Rom 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Rom 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Do Not Cause Another to Stumble

Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

This scripture continues to address food and outward appearance, ultimately reaching the same conclusion. God is the master of his own servants. Let Him judge them, and let us move up closer to be ready when Jesus comes.
