John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word

Laser Focused Prayer

Today, as I was meditating on the Lord and this sickness!  I was reminded of the power of being one, in the Lord! When Peter was thrown in jail for preaching the Gospel – the believers gathered together to pray for his release.   “Act 12:12  many were gathered together praying.” BUT they were of one accord or one opinion. They were praying for Peters’ release. They were not divided. No one was privately praying for him to stay in jail. No one was worried about who was leading the prayer or who called for prayer.

Their laser-focused prayers were aimed at Peters’ release. One mind, one mouth, one accord.  The result was an Angel was sent to bring Him out! God opened the door.  The passage reads that the door opened on its own accord. We know it was God Himself that opened that door. Why? The people who gathered together tuned their prayers in on one need and believed God to answer and He did.

Can we laser-focus our prayers today? Can we aim at one target with all the faith we can to see people healed, set free, or saved? Can we forget the whose church ideology long enough to be one church? Too many of our loved ones have already died of drug overdoses, Covid, or other diseases! Where do we find unity for prayer? Where do we learn to aim those prayers together? Can our prayers be more like a canon and less like a BEBE gun? We have been scattered soldiers, aiming at anything that moves, and yes, we make some differences in many ways but we can be more effective in our area of ministry if we can be one. Regardless of our church affiliation or location.

Any Army must work as a team to win. Can we team up against Covid? Can we as one gang up on Drug addiction? Can we focus our prayer power against the things that are killing those who are so needed in this end-time war for souls?

below is some scripture for your consideration

Rom_15:6  That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Co_13:11  Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Php_1:27  Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel

Php_2:2  Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

1Pe_3:8  Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous

Rev_17:13  These have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast
