Sometimes people look at ministers and believe they are invincible. They believe ministers should be fault free and holier then they are. But can I tell you about the men and women God called in Bible days? He called prostitutes, thieves, killers, and doubters. They got up and followed him and for a long time walked with him and was taught by Him He taught them about the kingdom of God. They were not perfect and you know that if you have read the New Testament. So if you are waiting until you are perfect to obey God in ministry, you will be waiting a long time.
No one is perfect…. but we have a perfect God. And it is His word and His truth we are to preach and teach. When you ask Jesus into your heart – He comes in and starts cleaning the house. He will let you know what to quit. He will deal with your heart and lead you into exactly what He wants you to be. But while He is cleaning the house, if he deals with you to sing a song, write a poem or share a word, please do not resist the leading of God. Don’t sit there and do nothing because you believe you are unworthy!! None of us are Worthy! But we do this for a Perfect God who loves us Perfectly!
