When I married Gary, we moved to the Fort Knox Ky area. He was in the service and the pay was not the greatest. We started going to a Church of God in the Radcliff area. Of course, he was gone all day long and there was little food. One day I prayed for the Lord to send me groceries. I was a lot skinnier then lol. I still remember the knock on the door. A lady from the church asked me, “were you just praying for food?” She said ” I wanted to come last night, I couldn’t sleep until I brought you groceries” Well I cried, shouted and we both had a Holy Ghost move of God in my front room.
You see, that’s the God I know and remember! I know that no matter where I am God can find me and assist me with anything I need. It’s been a while and my faith has almost failed me at times. God knows our situation, and he is our God! If my God cant keep me, no one can because He always has. In a tent during a thunderstorm, he told me he had a home for us. Praise his name, he did!
People and their opinions can damage your faith if you listen! Trails and troubles can weaken your faith if you do not build up your most holy faith praying in the Spirit. Faith can move Mts Jesus said! Without faith, we can’t climb mountains much less move them.
I prayed so many times, and God has answered so many times how could I ever doubt Him now? I wrote a song titled Don’t Believe what Your Eyes See! So if it looks like we are defeated and broken, don’t you believe it! Jesus is walking here with my family!
