Most of us have been sick at least once in our lives. As we age sickness, or weakness is a greater problem! Some, like me, abused our bodies with alcohol and cigarettes and later pay for it with health issues. We go to Doctors who honestly say, they are not sure in some cases how to help! Many of us take medications that have so many side effects that we are afraid of the Medications and very often the doctor prescribing them! As a Christian I study the word of God and ask myself, ” why cant I get healed?” I believe in divine healing as explained in the Bible, but I also believe God does the healing, not man! I find myself doubting that God wants to heal me but honestly can’t come up with a good reason why He wouldn’t!
In the Facebook sister page, we will be discussing this… I am looking for answers! I don’t pretend to know all the answers. I want to know why, I need to know why, and what I’m doing to prevent God from healing me! Below are a few scriptures on Healing. You can add your own, comment or voice your opinion.
Isaiah 41:10 – Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

James 5:15 – And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
